Joyce Lukomski

Joyce Lukomski is an international needlework teacher, designer, lecturer, and show judge who earned certification through the Valentine Museum (NAN) where she served as Director of Teachers' Certification and Director of Education. Since the mid 1970's she has taught at national and regional seminars for EGA, ANG, Embroidery Association of Canada, Elsa Williams School of Needlearts, Assembly for Embroiderers, Callaway Gardens Needlecraft School as well as for numerous other seminars and guilds. In 1981 she combined the profession of her "first" life in journalism with her love of needlework and assumed the duties of Editor of a guild magazine. She continued in that capacity until summer of 1998. In the spring of 1999 she launched a commercial magazine, needlepoint now.
