Beverly Elizabeth Booker

Beverly Elizabeth Booker is an established fiber artist, respected designer, national teacher, and judge. She is past Director of Judges' Certification for the National Academy of Needlearts (NAN), is currently Director of Teacher Certification and serves on the NAN Board of Directors. She holds certifications in Canvas Work, Pulled Thread, and Counted Thread Techniques from the Council of American Embroiderers (CAE) and Level II Certification in Design and Judge's Certification from NAN. Beverly has lived and studied embroidery in several countries and is devoted to bringing the art of embroidery to the same level as any other medium in the art world. Working toward that goal, she is President of the Plymouth Community Arts Council and actively pursues bringing fiber art to the forefront in her community.
