Snowpeople and Hats by Dinny Brones

I bought the painted canvas several years back and took the piece with me to Beth Robertson and Suzanne Howren’s canvas embellishment class at an ANG national seminar. I had a lot of fun trying various threads and stitches. Some of the decisions were theirs and some were mine. I finished everything but the background, and the piece sat around for several years. In June 2010, I took a class from Libby Sturdy, found the stitch I wanted to use for the background, and finished it. My local finisher decided to make it into a stand-up. I love it, and it sits on my desk. This was truly a fun canvas to work on.
