and the Earth Brought Forth Vegetation by Mary Ellen Calderwood

Beading has begun another artistic addiction for me. This piece of woven felted fabric spoke to me. I thought of the beginning of the universe with flowering trees and flowers springing forth from this earthy looking piece of felt. A small grey section at lower right in the felt needed to be incorporated into the piece, henceforth rocks found their way into the garden forming a path.
