Indoor Garden Sampler by Carol Pedersen

This lovely Hardanger sampler was designed by Donna Olson of Satin Stitches.

I used 25-count instead of 22-count Ariosa, #8 and #12 pearl cotton instead of #5 and #8, and Wildflowers by Caron instead of Watercolors by Caron. I also selected a different color palate than the model. On some of the separating bands, I used the finer pearl cotton for a stitch to soften it. On the third panel, the open work of the model was not uniform; since all other motifs are, I modified it to conform. I also used a different finish on the top and bottom instead of tabs on the top of the model. Finally, I accidentally reversed the order of the 9th and 10th panel. To finish, I added a lining fabric to highlight the openwork.
