Blue Crowned MotMot by Diane Horschak
This is a class piece designed and taught by Audrey Francini. This is a study in silk shading using long and short techniques. It was stitched with Japanese Embroidery flat silk combining multiple colors of thread in one needle to accomplish the subtle shading. Other techniques used were diagonal single layer, soft shading, couching. |
