Pastoral Symphony by Diane Herrmann

“Pastoral Symphony” a design adapted from Issue #10 of Inspirations Magazine, features a hand-embroidered band of flowers on a purchased acrylic hat. The flowers are all embroidered with cotton floss in bullion knots and French knots, blanket stitch, detached chain, and still more French knots. I changed the spring-like colors of the original to brighter ones, and added a few different flowers of my own. This hat will be a breath of fresh air in the cold of winter.
