By Request is an ANG correspondence course by Sue Reed. It was taught as a course in pattern and shading. The challenge for me, however, was choosing my own colors. I started with the Wildflowers and then chose colors to go with it. The purple and pink were not difficult but it took me quite some time to arrive at the green. I think the green really made the other colors come alive.

This piece was a class taught by Sue Reed at the Chicago Chapter of The American Needlepoint Guild. I cannot remember the name. Each student had a different color combination. Part of the fun was watching how the different colors worked together to change the whole.
