Pulled Thread Nativity by Rozelle Hirschfelt

Pulled Thread Nativity is a composite of 3 separate pieces with added design elements. The original series began with the central figures and was called “The Holy Family”. It was a beginner level piece designed first as a gift for my priest who collects Nativity sets. It became a teaching piece and was ultimately expanded into the series with the addition of “Annunciation to the Shepherds”, an intermediate level piece, and “The Wise Men”, an advanced level piece. This combination includes the addition of the camel, ground, hill and village. It was submitted as step 6 in the EGA Master Craftsman Program in Counted Thread.
