Peaceful Harbor by Gail Sirna

The scene is a small harbor off the coast of Massachusetts.  A large sail boat dominates the design, with a smaller indicting that this a a boaters' paradise.  On the distant hill the buildings of the town line the shore and creep up the hillside.  Grasses and flowers soften the foreground, and clouds drift lazily by in the summer sky.

This piece was worked in a class with Tony Minieri.  Tony did a masterful job of creating the very complex sailboat, and in effecting the perspective of the small buildings on the hill.  It was a pleasure to stitch.
