Teddy Bear's Christmas by Marlene G. Doak

My needlework company is called "The Needle Bearer" and I am known as the "Needlebear". When this hand painted canvas by a Minnesota artist, was displayed in a local shop, I could not resist the challenge to stitch it as a whimsical holiday picture. The bear's fur is stitched in interlocking gobelin with Medici wool that I brushed. Each Santa ornament was stitched with threads from my stash. Stitches were selected to show dimension and eye-pleasing texture.
