Sweet Spring by Sharon Barrea

My inspiration came from just ideas I had while walking in the country on a pretty day.

This is a piece of Congress cloth that I painted with water-colors and actually started just playing around with it as kind of a doodle cloth. One color and stitch led to another, then I thought why not use some pretty sheers and a little netting, a few more stitches-and this is what happened!

It really was a little more involved than that, but that is the short of a long story. It was a fun and soothing piece to do and that's what stitching is all about!
