Gingerbread House by Mary Connolly

This gingerbread house was designed by Susan Portra. It is a dimensional house. It started out as three canvases. There are numerous fibers that created this piece. There is bead work for the lollipops, peppermint candies, and candy canes. There is padding under the wafers. hearts and the snow on the roof and padding around all the window, kisses and above the door.

There was a stitch guide, and, I followed it all the way through. When starting to think about putting the house together the points of the roof were not tall enough for the roof itself. So I added to the peaks of the roof allowing the candy canes on both sides of the house to show.
