Desert Sunset by Maryann Jeurgensen

The designer’s idea was to create the appearance of stained glass using black to separate the individual panes of glass. Watercolors in vivid reds and somber grays and blacks create the reflections and shadows of setting sun.

I followed the instructions both in color and stitches as I am considering teaching this piece and in fairness to students I followed the chart.
