Anasazi Song by Denise Beusen

I started Carole Lake’s Anasazi Song in a workshop she offered in St. Louis. I stayed with her thread, stitch, and color selection except for the center motif, which I changed from a dark red-maroon Flair to a dark green-blue Flair that coordinates with the overdyed Watercolors surrounding it. The motivation was my decision to give the finished piece to a good friend whose home is decorated in peach and green.
