From Then to Now by Dorothy L. Johnson

Depicting winter: ice, snow, leafless branches, icicles forming all about.  A bare rocky landscape showing a somber mood - perhaps a hiatus of waiting - a time to sleep or let go, yet with hope for a change.   The focal point is that burst of energy and color announcing a change.  Spring arrives, with renewed life, the trees and blooms are bursting with color and form.  Nature continues glorifying our environment.

This is also a symbolic representation of rebirth, from hibernation to life, ever ready to emerge and change colors and textures..  Your interpretation if invited.

Elements:  Yarn, threads, silk, wood, cotton, blends, flower and floche.  Freeform background and stitching.
