ElizaCat Regina by Anita McIntyre

I love trying to make animal fur as realistic as possible. I stitch with my cat on my lap so that I always have some genuine cat fur incorporated into the piece. I love Jean Taggart’s Laid Fillings book and thought the fillings added richness and depth to the background. I also enjoy using dimension in my stitching to give the objects, such as the pearls, a realistic feeling.
