Tree Top Angel by Marilyn Hail of Leawood, Kansas

This project was an ongoing class sponsored by GKCNG as part of our meeting programs.

The project was designed by Gay Ann Rogers.

I followed the instructions except for the front panel of the skirt. The pattern called for a patterned background with scissors and thimbles. Also the Angel was to hold a thimble charm tied with a ribbon. I replaced the skirt design with a darning pattern and the thimble charm with a star and a cascade of beads.

I also changed the color scheme. The Angels could be made dimensional by stitching a corresponding back. I chose to have mine as a picture.
