Assembly 2010 for Embroiderers

Each year the Academy sponsors its annual Assembly for Embroiderers, a needlework seminar open to all students of embroidery.

We hope to see many of you - new attendees, certification graduates, and all who have been connected with NAN. Our celebration will include some new features along with Assembly traditions.

Certification Workshops are Wednesday, March 3, Thursday, March 4 and Friday, March 5. Assembly begins with an Opening Dinner on Friday, March 5, and classes will be held Saturday, March 6 through Tuesday, March 9.

Event Highlights

  • Opening dinner: The welcome event is a fabulous Opening Dinner Barbecue! What better place for a barbecue than Kansas City? Join us immediately following Teachers' Showcase for a grand welcome to Assembly.
  • Bring a Friend to Assembly: Encourage a stitching friend to join you at Assembly!
  • Guardian Angels: Please sign up to be a Guardian Angel (on the registration form). We'll pair you with a newcomer at the Opening Dinner so that all enjoy an evening of camaraderie and welcome at Assembly.

Outstanding classes are offered in a variety of embroidery styles and techniques. All are taught by skilled and recognized teachers of embroidery. This seminar is acknowledged to be an exceptional opportunity for those wishing serious pursuit of the needle arts, or a fun, relaxing needlework getaway.
